Dark Alpha Capital LLC is an independent sponsor firm specializing in leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and strategic investments with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $100 million. We are committed to creating value through the acquisition and active growth of companies. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Vice President of Investor Relations to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations & Capital Raising

  • Lead and execute capital-raising initiatives for transactions ranging from $10 million to $100 million.

  • Build, enhance, and maintain strong relationships with institutional firms, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other potential investors.

  • Maintain and expand our investor network aligned with our investment strategies.

  • Digital Roadshows & Presentations

  • Plan and conduct virtual roadshows and investor meetings to present ongoing investment opportunities.

  • Develop persuasive pitch materials, presentations, and communications that clearly articulate our value proposition.

Soft Circling of Commitments

  • Support the soft circling of capital following term sheet acceptance to secure preliminary investor commitments.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate investor communication.

Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Stay current on private equity and LBO market trends to refine fundraising approach and deal positioning.

  • Provide insights on investor sentiment, deal structuring, and financing opportunities.

Investor Database Optimization

  • Oversee improvements to investor database management and CRM best practices to enhance fundraising efficiency and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in investor relations, capital raising, investment banking, private equity, or financial services.

  • Experience or exposure to leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and financial structuring strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to build strong investor relationships.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and investor-facing proficiency.

  • Strong presentation and pitching capabilities.

  • Analytical thinker with high financial acumen.

  • Proficient in CRM/investor database management and virtual communication tools.

  • Self-driven, strategic, and results-oriented mindset.

Other Requirements

  • Comfortable working independently and within a remote team setup.

  • Availability for occasional travel for investor meetings and industry events.

  • Job Type: Part-time

Compensation Structure

  • This position is success-fee based only with no monthly retainer or base salary.
