Company Overview

Dark Alpha Capital LLC is an independent sponsor company specializing in leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and strategic investments with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $100 million. We are committed to creating value through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Capital Raising to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Raising Initiatives:

    • Lead and execute capital-raising efforts for transactions typically ranging from $10 million to $100 million.

    • Engage with institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other funding sources to secure investment commitments.

  • Investor Relations Management:

    • Manage, enhance, and expand our existing investor database.

    • Identify and cultivate relationships with new investors aligned with our investment strategies.

  • Digital Roadshows and Presentations:

    • Organize and conduct digital or video roadshows to present investment opportunities.

    • Develop compelling presentations and pitch materials that effectively communicate our value proposition and deal specifics.

Soft Circling Commitments:

  • Facilitate the soft circling of funds after term sheets are accepted by sellers to secure preliminary commitments from investors.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely and effective communication with potential investors.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about market trends, particularly in LBOs and the broader finance industry, to inform and adapt fundraising strategies.

  • Provide strategic input on deal structures and financing options based on market feedback.

Database Improvement:

  • Work with our existing database systems and lead initiatives to improve and optimize investor data management.

  • Implement best practices for CRM usage and data analytics to enhance fundraising efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required.

    • An MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in capital raising, investment banking, private equity, or related financial services.

    • Proven track record of successfully raising capital for transactions within the specified deal size range.

    • Deep understanding and experience with leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and financial structuring.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional financial acumen and analytical abilities.

    • Strong network of investor relationships within the finance industry.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in CRM systems and investor database management.

    • Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations and investment proposals.

    • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently while leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Comfortable with virtual communication tools and conducting meetings remotely.

  • Willingness to travel as necessary for investor meetings and conferences.
